About

Dr. Katie Harris joined Shepherd Center in 2019 as a rehabilitation neuropsychologist, specializing in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation interventions for individuals adapting to spinal cord and brain injuries. She is passionate about collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to meet the unique needs of patients and their families, taking an inclusive, patient-centered approach to care. Dr. Harris balances evidence-based practices with the flexibility required in an inpatient rehabilitation setting and leverages clinical observations to help drive the development of innovative programs that enhance patient outcomes.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with her two young children, helping foster dogs find their forever homes, attending live music events, and getting immersed in fantasy books.
