Shepherd Center breaks ground on the Jane Woodruff Pavillion, doubling the size of the Center, increasing inpatient capacity to 120 beds (eventually 152) to server patients worldwide, increasing the Intensive Care Unit to 10 beds, adding increased capacity for the Carlos MS Institute and Multi-Specialty Clinics and expanded Day Program facilities.
